Virgie Mae Willhelm
Virgie Mae Willhelm, 94, of Burnet died April 21, 2010. She was born in Adamsville Jan. 20, 1916, to Hamilton Baker and Mary Elizabeth Sutton. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She and her husband Audis lived in on their ranch in Lampasas. In 1978 they moved to Burnet to be close to their son Jimmie and family. She enjoyed ranching and fishing and gardening. Her grandchildren called her “Nano.” Relatives said she was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son Jimmie and daughter-in-law Lawana Willhelm of Burnet; grandson and wife Kevin and Stacy Willhelm of Abilene; granddaughter and husband Karen and Stuart Schmidt of Flower Mound; grandchildren Austin, Dillon and Lauren Willhelm and Coleman, Caroline and Campbell Schmidt. She is preceded in death by her husband Audis and four brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Clements- Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel, 306 Polk St. in Burnet. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
