LAKE TRAVIS — The Marble Falls High School baseball team had plenty to play for during the regular-season finale against Lake Travis Friday.

A chance at a possible three-way tie for second and a season-sweep of the Cavaliers would be the program’s first in at least five years.

But it wasn’t meant to be as Lake Travis (7-3 in District 25-4A) took a 10-2 victory.
