SOFTBALL: Lady Stangs pounce on the Lady Roos

MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School softball team has been waiting for a performance like the one they had against Killeen High Friday.

It wasn’t so much how the Lady  Mustangs (5-19, 1-2 in District 25-4A) scored the 13-1 win. It was the manner in which they did it.

“It was a pretty big win,” head coach David Orsag said. “They’re not very good, but we have to win those games, too. I told them I was proud of them. We had to have that one.”
