Clara Ann Veteto
Clara Ann Veteto, 99, of El Paso and formerly of Kingsland, died Feb. 16, 2010. She was born to William H. and Virginia Ann (Simms) Timms May 1, 1910, in Pine Bluff, Ark.
She was a head designer for Frost Brothers Fashions in San Antonio in the 1950s. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family and beloved Chihuahua, Quinny.
Survivors include grandchildren Renee Placker and husband Bill of Granite Shoals, Robbie Veteto of Granite Shoals, Jan Turman and husband Junior Turman of Kingsland, Sandy Comstock and wife Jan of Granite Shoals, Debbie Graff and husband Jim of Ruidoso, N.M.; great-grandchildren Johnny Veteto and wife Misty and their two children of Kingsland, Jaclyn Milum and husband James and their two children of Llano, Amber Murry and husband Brandon and their child of Fort Worth, John Comstock and wife Natasha of Spicewood, Cory Comstock and wife Leslie and their three children of Marble Falls, Chris Graff of Ruidoso, Ashley Graff of Ruidoso, Robert Ploch and family of Valley, Okla., Tammy Qualls and family of Burnet, and John White and family of Lampasas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jonny R. Veteto; son Johnny R. Veteto II; and grandson Jack Wayne Veteto.
Graveside funeral services were held Feb. 22 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
