MARBLE FALLS — Before the soccer season starts each year, Marble Falls High School boys head coach Michael Nave asks each of his players to write down three things they want him to be able to say during the awards ceremony later in the spring.
This year, half of the players wrote they wanted the coach to tell the community they were a family.
"This team was more like a family than ever before," Nave said at this year's ceremony May 1 at the high school. "That really sums it up."
