BURNET — The Burnet High School football practice fields will be filled with activity May 24.
That's because 7-on-7 teams from Georgetown Eastview, Llano and Marble Falls will take on the Bulldogs starting at 6 p.m. The Burnet practice fields are located next to the fieldhouse, 1000 The Green Mile.

The Marble Falls High School gold football team defeated the purple team 41-20 in a scrimmage May 17 for the final spring football activity of the year.
MARBLE FALLS — Fans can get an early glimpse of the 2012 Marble Falls High School football team May 17 when the Mustangs hold the purple-and-gold spring football game.
The inter-squad scrimmage will end spring football practice.
MARBLE FALLS — The annual Marble Falls High School powder puff game will be played at Mustang Stadium, 2101 Mustang Drive, with a new kickoff time of 7 p.m. because of rain.
Originally, the contest was going to be at Pony Stadium.
The game pits the girls of the class of 2012 against the girls of the class of 2013 and is a fundraiser for the Casey Rice Memorial Scholarship Fund. Rice was a principal and tennis coach at Marble Falls Independent School District.
The Tuff Enuff contest between the senior boys and the male faculty and staff members is cancelled.
BURNET — Dallas Cowboy great Everson Walls will sign autographs for a fundraiser June 16 to benefit the Burnet Tackle Football League.
The event is 3-5 p.m. at the Burnet Feed Store Barbecue, 2800 U.S. 281.
