On Jan. 4, about 750 rainbow trout were set free in Hamilton Creek in Burnet for winter fishing by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Anglers are encouraged to fish them out before the waters warm up too much for them to survive. Staff photo by Brigid Cooley
