The Howdy-Roo chili and barbecue cook-offs simmered and smoked May 5-6 at Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls. Money raised from the Chili Appreciation Society International event went to the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department, Boy Scout Troop 284, and the Marble Falls High School band boosters.
