Johnson City earns its nickname “The Twinkliest Town in Texas”, as millions of lights illuminate the downtown area for the holidays. The Old Blanco County Courthouse and surrounding streets sparkle with more than 2 million bulbs, while Pedernales Electric Cooperative adds another 1.6 million blue-and-white lights wrapped around the trees at its headquarters. Visitors can stroll through the displays and enjoy festive food, drinks, and special activities on select nights.
