James Edward ‘Jim’ Hannusch

James Edward “Jim” Hannusch, 70, of Marble Falls died Sept. 23, 2011, at an Austin hospital. He was born Nov. 14, 1940, in Pin Oak to Walter and Louise Miller Hannusch.
He served in the Air Force, was a volunteer firefighter for the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department for more than 30 years and was operations manager for the Lower Colorado River Authority.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Pat Hannusch; children Shawn Hannusch and wife Valerie of Austin, Sherry Inman and husband Billy of Marble Falls, Scott Hannusch and wife Brandy of Spicewood, and Steven Hannusch and wife Jennifer of Grand Prairie; grandchildren Kerri Hannusch of Virginia Beach, Va., Cody Young of Highland Haven, Ashley Inman of Marble Falls, James Hannusch and Jonathan Hannusch, both of Austin, Kirsta Little, Barret Little and Tanner Hannusch, all of Spicewood, and Kayla Hannusch of Grand Prairie; brother Raymond Hannusch and wife Darlene of Cedar Creek; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Edgar Funeral Home Chapel, 2105 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his name to the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department.
