Other Austin-area players are Garret Quiroz of Georgetown and Keagan Thomson and Collin Edwards from Austin.

The Duncanville Dragons finished the regular season in fourth place to earn a bye in the quarterfinals.

In the semifinal games last weekend, the Dragons beat the Houston Hurricanes, a Dallas Stars select team, and the Highland Park Junior Scots to advance to the finals against the Alliance Bulldogs.

Both teams in the finals went 3-1 during the semifinals tournament last weekend.

The games will be at the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Plano.

Kittman also plays varsity hockey on the Leander Independent School District hockey team.

LISD finished the regular season in first place and will begin the playoffs this week for a chance to represent the Hill Country in the Texas State High School tournament March 27 in Dallas.

In high school hockey, he plays against his Duncanville Dragons teammates who play on either the Round Rock team or the Austin Consolidated team.
