Lady Mustangs see progress in loss

MARBLE FALLS — The four-set loss the Marble Falls High School volleyball team suffered to Copperas Cove on Aug. 30 demonstrated how far the Lady Mustangs have come and how much more they have to go.
That’s according to head coach Julie Downs.
“We rallied, rallied, rallied,” she said. “I’m proud of them for running balls down that were in the ceiling. They stayed focused, they did what they needed to do — not that we were successful in all of them. We were in the judge’s stand, we were over here in the scorer’s table. That’s what we’re going to do. And hopefully, that’s going to give us more wins than anybody else.”
