Lady Mustangs see success at Gatesville Tournament
MARBLE FALLS — After a tough loss at Cedar Ridge on Aug. 16, Marble Falls High School volleyball coach Julie Downs said coaches would concentrate on basics all over again during practices.
Her players responded well, finishing the Gatesville Tournament in fourth place Aug. 20 after beating Cedar Creek 25-22, 25-19, 25-9 on Aug. 19.

The Lady Mustangs (8-6) lost to Gatesville 21-25, 23-25 in the tournament semifinals and Lago Vista 21-25, 25-17, 22-25 for third place.
Downs said she was pleased with the way her squad attacked Gatesville.
