RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas — Four members of the Marble Falls High School Bass Fishing Club found themselves in unfamiliar territory as they competed in the 2011 High School Fishing World Finals on Lake Dardanelle July 18-25.

“The lake was more like a wide river and the fish had so many places to hide,” club member Logan Clark said. “So finding the fish itself was challenging.”

During the jackpot tournament, the boat captain fished alongside the high school anglers. But when the official tournament started July 21, only the two high school students were allowed to fish.
