Youth sports coach to lend his voice to charity event
GEORGETOWN — Youth sports coach Jeff Hathaway will be the keynote master of ceremonies April 30 for the CenTex Horse Festival-Horses and Horsepower Car Show and Benefit Concert.
The event is 11:30 a.m. at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Posse Arena, 415 E. Morrow St.
Country music artist Rick Trevino will perform at 6:30 p.m. at the benefit concert.
The event benefits The Horseboy Foundation and Minis and Friends.
Hathaway, who is the voice of the Hill Country Colts semi-pro football team and has served as the public address announcer for Marble Falls High School baseball games, said he is honored to be part of the event.
“I do a lot of charity announcing,” he said. “I love kids. I love special needs. When I can donate my time for special needs, I do it.”
