Anglers’ club heads to tourney

MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School bass fishing team heads for its first major tournament Saturday, April 9, on Lake Belton as they prepare for the state championship in May.

“While it’s an independent tournament, it’s a state level one,” said Lorna Ellis, a club sponsor.  “Actually, this tournament will draw students from states surrounding Texas.”
