MARBLE FALLS — It’s the moment most softball players dream about — hitting a home run on the first pitch of the game, the first swing of the contest.
Marble Falls High School senior center fielder Payton Peril did it, sending the ball over the center-right field fence, about 205 yards away, in the District 25-4A opener against Lake Travis.
