Late field goal gives Marble Falls its first district win

MARBLE FALLS — There couldn’t have been a better ending for senior night at Mustang Stadium than what Marble Falls High School accomplished Nov. 2 against Dripping Springs.

Senior kicker Jacob Wyatt nailed a 29-yard field goal with 13 seconds remaining to give the Mustangs (4-5, 1-4)  a 38-35 comeback win. It was the Mustangs’ first victory in District 25-4A competition.
