Bulldogs run out of answers for Mustangs’ offense

MARBLE FALLS — The Burnet Bulldogs couldn’t have started the game against the Marble Falls High School Mustangs better Sept. 14, but the promising beginning didn’t end that way.

Burnet lost to its traditional cross-county foes, 51-34, in the latest game of a rivalry that stretches back to 1898. Marble Falls had the home-field advantage since the game was played at Mustang Stadium.
