Burnet wins scrimmage against Somerset

BURNET — Only the lightning saved Somerset from the Burnet High School football team in both teams’ first scrimmage of the 2012 season Aug. 17.

And it wasn’t because the Bulldogs offense was lightning fast in scoring.

Rather, it was because the Burnet defense brought pressure from all angles, forcing Somerset into quick throws before running backs and receivers could break on their routes.
