7-on-7 league to help Faith transition to 11-man football, coach says
MARBLE FALLS — Playing 7-on-7 games is familiar to Faith Academy. But playing 7-on-7 as a program transitioning from six-man football to 11-man football is not.
That’s why head coach Russ Roberts believes this summer is crucial, so he entered the Flames in a 7-on-7 league in Temple that begins June 7 at 6:45 p.m. against Central Texas Christian and ends against Temple Holy Trinity at 7:30 p.m.
