Colts saddle up for their 2nd season

MARBLE FALLS — The Hill Country Colts are set to begin their second season playing in the Highland Lakes.

They have a preseason game in San Antonio against the Texas Mavericks, but will play their home contests at Pony Stadium in Marble Falls, 1511 Pony Circle Drive.

Returning players include center Ira Franklin, left tackle Xavier Garza, linebacker Corey Wunderlich, defensive linemen Juan Morales, C.J. Barnes and Ryan Atkinson, tight end Ben Ward, defensive back Richard Escobar, fullbacks Trey Kessler and Wayne Curde, cornerback Clayson Bates and reserve quarterback James Crawford, who has spent his offseason lifting weights and participating in a conditioning program.
