MARBLE FALLS — After the Vipers took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter, the defenses took over. The Mustangs didn’t allow another score until four minutes remained in the third quarter. Then Marble Falls scored with 2:30 left in the period, and the two teams exchanged touchdowns the rest of the way.
TOP PLAYERS: Keith Jerome scored both touchdowns on 24-yard and 1-yard runs.
