Shuttle service will be available at Burnet-Marble Falls game
FROM STAFF REPORTS
BURNET — A couple of things are consistent regarding the Burnet and Marble Falls football game.
The first is that records mean very little when talking about the only two public high schools in Burnet County. Expect to see both teams play well. The second is that this game means a lot to a lot of people. Expect to see thousands at the contest, which is 7:30 p.m. Sept. 2 at Bulldog Field, 1000 The Green Mile. (READ MORE ABOUT THE GAME HERE.)
In anticipation of the crowd, Burnet Consolidated Independent School District is offering a shuttle service from 6-7:45 p.m. from:
• the school district’s transportation parking lot, 802 N. Wood St.
• the R.J. Richey Elementary School parking lot, 500 E. Graves.
Note that pick-up and parking spots are marked.
And don’t worry, Mustangs fans. Burnet CISD drivers will drop you off at the west entrance (visitors side) to the stadium, while Bulldogs fans will be dropped off at the main entrance (home side) northeast end of the stadium.
At the end of the game, simply go to the entrance at which you were dropped off to get a ride back to the parking lots.
Call (512) 756-2119 for more information.
Bulldogs fans should note that this shuttle service will be offered for each home game.
Those not going to the game can listen to the action with KBEY. Mustangs fans can tune in to KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune or online HERE, while Bulldogs fans can listen to KMPN 95.9 FM powered by KBEY or online HERE. Both stations will air a local high school football roundup at 6:30 p.m. and go live at 7 p.m.
