No. 9 Cedar Park is too much for Mustangs in shutout loss
CEDAR PARK — The Marble Falls High School football team returned to John Gupton Stadium Friday with the aim of upsetting Cedar Park High, a team considered by many to be a state title contender.
The Timberwolves (7-1, 4-0) lived up to the billing by winning 52-0 to give the Mustangs (4-3, 1-2) their third loss in five weeks.
“We got beat up pretty good by a very good football team,” head coach Cord Woerner said. “It’s my fault I didn’t get us in the end zone.”
Cedar Park is ranked No. 9 in Class 4A.
