New LCRA facility consolidates operations

AUSTIN — The Lower Colorado River Authority is moving ahead with plans to construct a $6.4 million facility near Marble Falls that will consolidate operations from three other facilities.

Austin-based general contractor Zapalac and Reed likely will begin construction of the new Western Maintenance Facility near Wirtz Dam this summer and finish by summer next year.
