In 1931, she moved with her parents to Burnet, where her dad found work building Buchanan Dam. She always said they never moved back to Wisconsin because her brother fell in love with Avis Schilling and her mother would not leave Texas without her son. Maybelle was a Texan from then on.

Maybelle is survived by her son Ronny Hibler and wife Linda of Marble Falls; daughter Donna Hollingsworth and husband Dewey of Spicewood; and Ricky Hibler and wife Terry of Horseshoe Bay.
Maybelle was a grandmother to Randy Hibler and wife Valerie, Chrystal Whiteside and husband Wade, Steven Hollingsworth, Eric Hibler and wife Jolee, Bryan Hibler and fiancée Amanda Pelky, Lynn Hollingsworth, Brandon Daughtery and wife Suzie, Leslie Collins and husband Stephen and Jeremy Daughtery; great-grandkids Dusty Hibler, Braidon Whiteside, Elizabeth Hibler, Amber Hibler, Haylee Whiteside, Hannah, Jack and Sam Collins, Sam, Clara and Ellen Daughtery, Deaglan Daughtery and Grace Cox; and great-great-grandkids, Solla and Luna Collins. She also had many nieces and nephews.
It was Maybelle’s wish to be cremated, and the family has honored that wish. They will receive family and friends for a visitation 5-7 p.m. Dec. 4 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.
A private interment by the family will be held at a later date at Burnet City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Seton Highland Lakes Hospital for their care and compassion during her last days.
