Four of eight applicants recommended for funding drawn from Marble Falls hotel taxes

MARBLE FALLS — Some got nothing, some got something and some have to wait — that’s what happened when the Hotel Occupancy Tax Committee June 21 reviewed requests from organizations seeking returns on tourism dollars.

The committee, however, only recommends to the City Council which requests to fund and at what level, City Manager Ralph Hendricks said.
