Highland Lakes couple’s service recognized by Boys & Girls Club
John and Vivian Hoover (right) were presented with the John and Barbara Racz Excellence in Service Award on Oct. 2 at the 13th annual Buckaroo Ball for the Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes. The award recognizes a community members who have given a significant amount of their time, talent and treasure to the club. Presenting the award to the Hoovers were the club’s Executive Director Bill Drake (left) and board president Randal Dahl. The local Boys & Girls Club has two units in the Highland Lakes.
