MARBLE FALLS — After six years as the Faith Academy administrator and 14 total with the Christian private school, Mark Earwood is heading to North Carolina to lead Statesville Christian School.

But he and his family aren’t getting out of town without a proper send-off. On July 6 at First United Methodist Church, 1101 Bluebonnet Drive, everybody’s invited to wish the Earwoods “happy trails.” The event is 3-5 p.m. and is a come-and-go setting, though there will be a special presentation at 4 p.m..

Along with Earwood, the school will be losing his wife, Laura, who teaches junior high school social studies and Bible classes at Faith Academy.

The couple’s three sons, Ryan (class of 2008), Cyle (class of 2011) and Mitch (class of 2014) are all Faith Academy graduates.

People also may drop off letters of well wishes until July 3 at Faith Academy, 3151 RR 1431.

Call (830) 798-1333 for more information.
