Lady Mustangs volleyball team finishes third at Pflugerville tournament

PFLUGERVILLE — The Marble Falls High School volleyball team came in third place at the Pflugerville Connally Champions Tournament on Aug. 22 and 24.
Marble Falls defeated Lehman Hays for third place 25-18, 25-22, Holland 25-15, 25-20, and Del Valle 25-14, 25-15; lost to Ann Richards School for Girls 22-25, 25-18, 22-25 in pool play in two sets; and split sets with Lehman 18-25, 25-19 in pool play.
Head coach Julie Downs was pleased with the Lady Mustangs’ service game, especially against Holland, she said.

JUNIOR VARSITY: The Lady Mustangs finished fourth at the Pflugerville Connally Champions Tournament. They lost to Del Valle 19-25, 19-25 in the final contest of the event.
