Fraser bill targets PEC elections

AUSTIN — New legislation introduced by state Sen. Troy Fraser aims to make Pedernales Electrical Cooperative elections more “fair” to members from underrepresented areas.

His bill would create single-member districts that are accessible to more candidates and could cut down on the costs of running for office, he said.
