Bikes needed for Christmas giveaway

BURNET — Bikes, tricycles and wagons are needed for the “great giveaway” at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce Christmas on the Square festival Dec. 13, officials said.

“Last year, we gave away 150 bikes,” said Chamber Director Patty Alford. “On the Square, we make lots of kids smile.”

The chamber is asking for donated new bicycles, tricycles or wagons, or money to purchase a bike.
