Artist’s demonstration planned for Llano guild
Townsend is a formally trained artist who also has a background in commercial art, public education and painting “just for the love of art.”
Her works include clay, jewelry, sculpture and found objects.
“I love it all,” said Townsend. “Every exposure and experience builds one on the other to develop and expand skills and sensibilities to do what artists do — create.”
This will be a hands-on experience with a live artist’s model, so bring drawing materials, sponsors said.
There will be a potluck lunch following the demonstration. A donation of $5 covers both the demonstration and lunch.
