Alert: Highland Lakes under severe thunderstorm watch

Burnet and Llano counties are under severe thunderstorm watches from the National Weather Service until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6.
The NWS issued the watches at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The warnings indicate that both counties could see lightning, hail, high winds, and heavy rain.
