• The Highland Arts Guild and Gallery hosts a free oil painting workshop presented by Rusty Jones on Thursday, Sept. 18, at 9:30 a.m.
• Taste Highland Lakes is Saturday, Sept. 20, from 1-5 p.m. in the Legends Community. The Kingsland Chamber of Commerce event benefits Kingsland Community Park renovations. Tickets online and at event.
• Oktoberfest is Saturday, Sept. 20, at Harmony Park in downtown Marble Falls. Features festive food, drinks, live music, entertainment, and games. Benefits the Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes.
• The 36th annual Blanco Classic Car Show is Saturday, Sept. 20, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Blanco State Park. The car show is free for spectators.
• The Albert Pasture Party with Little Texas and Pam Tillis is Saturday, Sept. 20, from 2-10 p.m. at Albert Ice House & Dancehall.
• Round Mountain Cider Mill hosts a praise and worship concert with ROOT 90 and other artists on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 5-7 p.m.
