Highland Lakes football teams return to the field Friday, Sept. 18, for Week 4, with Burnet traveling to Blanco while Marble Falls, Faith Academy and Llano host games.

Marble Falls vs Liberal Arts & Science Academy Raptors (Home)

KICKOFF: 7:00 p.m. Friday

WHERE: Mustang Stadium, 2101 Mustang Drive in Marble Falls

LAST WEEK: Fredericksburg 14, Marble Falls 3

Marble Falls heads into Week 4 looking for a homecoming win after falling 14-3 to the Fredericksburg Billies.

The Mustangs struggled to find the end zone in the loss, scoring their only points on a field goal after putting up 39 points in their previous game against Little River Academy. The loss dropped Marble Falls to 1-2 on the season.

Marble Falls returns home Friday to host Austin’s Liberal Arts & Science Academy, 0-3, for homecoming, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.

Burnet Bulldogs at Blanco Panthers (Away)

KICKOFF: 7:00 p.m. Friday

WHERE: Panther Stadium, 604 Terri Lane in Blanco

LAST WEEK: Lago Vista 48, Burnet 26

Burnet has had a tough start to the season, dropping games to Llano, Taylor and Lago Vista as the Bulldogs search for their first win.

The Bulldogs fell 48-26 to the Vikings last week, dropping to 0-3 on the season. Burnet scored 87 points through three games while allowing 135.

Burnet is looking for a big win Friday when it travels to face the Blanco Panthers at 7 p.m.

Faith Academy Flames vs Medina Bobcats (Home)

KICKOFF: 7:00 p.m. Friday

WHERE: Britton Football Field, 3151 East Ranch Road 1431 in Marble Falls

LAST WEEK: Faith Academy 32, Heritage Christian 30

Faith Academy will look to make it three straight wins Friday when the Flames host Medina.

The Flames have bounced back from an 0-1 start with consecutive one-point wins, beating Hill Country Christian 51-50 before defeating Heritage Christian 32-30 last Friday. The two victories moved Faith Academy to 2-1 in the regular-season.

Faith Academy will host Medina at 7 p.m. Friday.

Llano Yellowjackets vs. Lago Vista (Home)

KICKOFF: 7:00 p.m. Friday

WHERE: Jacket Stadium, 400 Texas 71 East in Llano

LAST WEEK: Blanco 39, Llano 34

Llano will look to bounce back Friday after suffering its first loss of the season, a 39-34 setback to Blanco.

The Yellowjackets opened the season with wins over Burnet and Jim Ned before falling to Blanco in a high-scoring matchup. Llano enters Friday’s game with a 2-1 record.

The Yellowjackets will host Lago Vista at 7 p.m. Friday, looking to add to their winning record.
