Burnet County and the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) are developing a long-range transportation plan and are inviting residents to help shape its future.

Community members are encouraged to share their input during one of two public meetings in August.

The first meeting will be held Wednesday, August 6, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the AgriLife Extension Office, 607 N. Vanderveer St. in Burnet. The second meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Marble Falls Pavilion, 901 La Ventura Drive in Marble Falls.

The plan will help county leaders identify transportation priorities for the years ahead, including needed improvements to roads, bridges, public transit, and options for walking and bicycling. Input from residents will help guide future transportation projects and investment decisions.
