Granite Shoals residents must renew their boat launch permits for 2026 to continue free use of the city’s boat ramps in public parks.
Permits are valid for one calendar year, from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, and stickers must be updated annually. To renew, residents must complete an application and submit it to the city by email, by mail, or in person at City Hall, where the pass can be picked up.
Visitors wishing to purchase an annual pass must do so in person at City Hall, located at 2221 N. Phillips Ranch Road. Visitors can also pay via QR code at each boat launch point in the city.
If the application is mailed, the permit stickers will be mailed back to you. Residents may also call City Hall at 830-598-2424 to request that an application be emailed to them.
Email the city about a permit at citysecretary@graniteshoals.org.
For visitors, the daily launch fee is $10, or an annual pass may be purchased for $200. Payment may be made in cash or through the QR code kiosk at the boat launch. Please note that an additional electronic processing fee applies when using the QR code.
Launching a boat without paying the required fee or without properly displaying a permit sticker may result in a citation.
