PEC board nominations open

Members of the Pedernales Electric Cooperative PEC have until March 20 to submit nomination materials to run for a seat on the cooperative’s Board of Directors.
The 2026 election will fill board positions for districts 2 and 3, which also include parts of Williamson County and western Travis County. Election results will be announced June 16.
Eligible candidates must live in the district they seek to represent, have received continuous PEC electric service for at least one year, and collect 50 verified signatures from PEC members within the same district.
Completed petitions and applications must be delivered to PEC headquarters in Johnson City. Nomination materials are available on the PEC website or by calling 830-868-4967 or emailing election@peci.com.
Voting will take place May 19 through June 12, with options to vote electronically or by mail. Newly elected directors will be seated June 19.
