  • Charity bingo at the Highland Lakes VFW Post 6974 in Burnet takes place Mondays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. 
  • A mosaic glass accent table workshop is Thursday-Friday, Sept. 4-5, at Buchanan Art Gallery. Cost is $125. Register online.
  • The Lakeshore Library hosts a Nature-Share program at 2 p.m. Friday. Enjoy lively conversations about the more-than-human world. Bring anything you would like to share if you wish. The event includes screenings of the short films “Guano Gold” and “Pangolin Protectors.” Free and open to the community.
  • Enjoy karaoke at the Marble Falls VFW Post 10376 on Fridays at 7 p.m. Open to the public. 
  • Market Day on Main Street in Marble Falls is Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Features street vendors, artists, craftspeople, food, and live music.
  • Putters & Gutters in Marble Falls presents live music by Americana artist William Beckmann on Saturday. Doors open at 7 p.m.
  • The Marble Falls High School Starlettes dance team hosts a Mustang Spirit Clinic for kids in pre-kindergarten through the fifth grade Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pre-registration required.
  • The Highland Lakes Metal Detecting Club meets Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Kingsland Branch Library. Open to anyone interested in metal detecting.
  • Take a guided LBJ Ranch Bike Tour on Sept. 6, 12, 20, and 27 at 9:30 a.m. Free. Pre-registration required.
  • Departure ATX plays the Round Mountain Cider Mill on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. Family-friendly show. Admission $5 at the door.
