The Marble Falls Senior Activity Center, 618 Avenue L, has been a community treasure for 38 years. Seniors ages 50 and older are welcome. Play bingo, 42, straight dominoes, Mexican train, canasta, and hand and foot.
Party bridge is on Tuesdays. Mahjongg is played twice a week: tournament style on Mondays and a social game on Thursdays. Bring your favorite dish to share for a potluck on Fridays at noon. Canasta, 42, and straight domino tournaments are scheduled for Saturdays.
Health fairs, craft fairs, musical performances, and special programs take place throughout the year. A lending library has books and puzzles to check out. The senior center held a mahjongg teaching day in June that included door prizes, raffle prizes, and lunch.
Membership dues are $75 a year. The center is also available for rentals. For more information, call 830-265-6555.
