PHOTOS: Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center opens Burnet facility

Burnet city leaders, Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center staff and board members, and volunteers gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the center’s new Burnet facility on April 23, 2025. The nearly $5 million project will be the new base of operations for the organization, which provides support for victims of child abuse and the investigations of those crimes in the Texas Hill Country. The Burnet facility, intended to support child abuse victims and their families, was made possible through a partnership with the city and a grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. The Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center has been improving response to child abuse across Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano, and San Saba counties for over 30 years.
