Marble Falls High School aims to raise $150,000 for its athletic programs through “All for the Mustangs,” an online fundraising campaign that ends Sept. 29. Visit teamfunded.com to donate.

Proceeds go toward improving facilities, investing in equipment for weight training and conditioning, and supporting events that boost community engagement.

“Donating to the fundraiser allows the coaches to invest in their program more,” said John Berkman, Marble Falls assistant athletic director and head girls’ basketball coach. “This will help maximize player performance but also create an environment our athletes want to be part of.”

The athletic department decided on an all-sports fundraiser rather than individual ones based on input from parents.

“The ‘All for the Mustangs’ fundraiser allows the department the chance to combine the power of all programs on campus,” Berkman said.

The fundraiser follows a banner 2022-23 academic year for Marble Falls athletics when the school’s baseball, boys’ basketball, cross-country, soccer, and tennis teams all finished at or near the top of district standings.

“Last year, Mustang athletics reached new heights,” Berkman said. “Many programs won district championships and made the playoffs. We want to keep the momentum going.”

Funds generated by “All for the Mustangs” will only be available to high school programs. A separate fundraiser for Marble Falls Middle School athletics is planned for a later date, Berkman said.
