FROM STAFF REPORTS
Marble Falls implemented Stage 2 water use restrictions effective May 3.
The city has been under Stage 3 restrictions since April 5.
Stage 2 restrictions allow residential and commercial watering twice a week.
Watering is limited to between midnight and 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight on scheduled watering days.
Commercial customers can water on Tuesdays and Fridays. Residential customers with odd-numbered addresses can water on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while even-numbered residential customers can water Thursdays and Sundays.
Watering with a hand-held hose is permitted at all times.
Some prohibited water uses for residential customers continue, such as power washing, refilling swimming pools at times other than designated water use hours, and washing vehicles, boats, and trailers except during designated hours.
Visit the city’s website for more information on the Drought Contingency Plan.
