Vera Inez Elsey, 91, of Tow, Texas, passed away Jan. 26, 2018. She was born to Maude Jane (Bayless) and John Oliver Doty on Feb. 7, 1926, in Oklahoma.

Vera was a mother and a waitress and enjoyed playing Bunko and Farkle with her friends. She was a member of the Women’s Bowling Association, an honorary member of the Round Rock Volunteer Fire Department, and participated with the Women’s Pumper Race team.

Vera is survived by her son Ronnie Gene Sullivan and wife Barbara of Tow; granddaughters, Melissa Price of Tow, Heidi Reynolds of San Antonio, and Amber Sullivan of Oklahoma; grandson, Gene Sullivan of Florida; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Elsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert W. Elsey; brothers, J.D. Doty, Raymond Doty, and Earl Doty; sister, Joan Doty; and son Gary D. Sullivan.

The family will hold private services at a later date. Please do not send any donations or flowers.
