Patsy Lee McKinney, 82, of Granite Shoals died Jan. 10, 2018

Patsy Lee McKinney, 82, of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away Jan. 10, 2018. She was born to Mary Lou (Chester) McClintock and Youie Zelmer on April, 18, 1935, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Patsy was a longtime supervisor for an electrical manufacturing company in Marble Falls. She was a very talented broad-spectrum artist and very good with oil paints, sculpting, ceramics, and Native American basket weaving. She also loved animals, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Merritt of Tucson, Arizona; son, Dean McKinney and wife Teresa of Dallas; grandchildren Cynthia Lynch, Michael Tumlinson, Jason Christian, and Candace Walton; sisters, Zelma Leeds, Dean Cox, and June Umscheid; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Dianna Christian and grandson Carl New.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date and requests that donations be made to the Hill Country Humane Society, 9150 RR 1431, Buchanan Dam, TX 78609.
