Michael George Gardner, 24, of Burnet died April 16, 2017

Michael George Gardner, 24, of Burnet, Texas, passed away April 16, 2017. He was born to Timothy and Annette (Fortier) Gardner on Oct. 4, 1992 in Denver, Colorado.

Michael loved people. He was always quick to shake a hand, hug a neck, and engage in conversation with his upbeat personality and infectious smile. He never met a stranger.

Michael enjoyed a good party and was very creative. He liked drawing, painting, swimming, skateboarding, playing his guitar, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his love 5½ years, Korie Stewart of Burnet; mother, Annette Gardner of Buchanan Dam; father, Timothy Gardner of Buchanan Dam; five brothers, Nicholas Gardner of Arvada, Colorado, Zachary Gardner of Longmont, Colorado, Joe Tutolo and wife Sarah of Tomaston, Connecticut, Jesse Tutolo and wife Claudia of Southington, Connecticut, and Timothy Gardner of Buchanan Dam; nieces, Daisy and Shiloh; nephews, Liciano and Tyler; and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family, and a host of friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Virginia Gardner.

Visitation is 4-6 p.m. April 19 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. A funeral service is 11 a.m. April 20 at the Chapel of the Hills Baptist Church, 19135 Texas 29 East in Buchanan Dam.
