Betty B. Fitzgerald, 86, of Sunrise Beach Village died March 5, 2017

Betty B. Fitzgerald, 86, of Sunrise Beach Village, Texas, passed away March 5, 2017. She was born to Emil and Anne (Mallon) Ballman on Aug. 5, 1930, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

After working for the government for many years, she retired to the Texas Hill Country and Sunrise Beach Village.

Betty is survived by her partner, Tommie Hudson, and niece Dorothy Williamson of California.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive as well as many, many friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dorothy; brother, Emil Ballman; and son, Gary Michael Fitzgerald.

A memorial service is 11 a.m. March 9 at the Sunrise Beach Village Civic Center with Kevin Pool officiating.
