Margie Eileen Ratliff, 77, of Kingsland died March 11, 2017

Margie Eileen Ratliff, 77, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away March 11, 2017. She was born to Allen and Marguerite (Dreier) Wendel on Oct. 6, 1939, in Myersville, Texas.

Mrs. Ratliff was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls, Texas. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, crocheting afghans, sewing, fishing, and spending time with her ladies card game group. She was a family-oriented person and loved to cook for them. She loved her grandchildren and was always there for support at their many events.

Margie is survived by her children, Melinda Clark and husband Don of Marble Falls, Teresa Moore and husband Wes of Spring Branch, Samuel Ratliff and wife Mary of Marble Falls, Keith Ratliff and wife Laura of Victoria, and William Ratliff and wife Candy of Marble Falls; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren (and one on the way); brother Paul Wendel; sister, Carol O’Brien; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Charles and Larry Wendel.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. March 19 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls.
